About this Event
When I got diagnosed at 25, I was completely floored by getting told this news at my age. I'd never heard of anyone with breast cancer in their 20s or 30s. Going through breast cancer treatment at any age is difficult, but I felt like I stood out like a sore thumb and it was quite hard to relate at times. Having your hormones, fertility and perhaps your breasts taken from you so early into life can be incredibly hard to adjust to but speaking to girls of the same age can help you feel reassured you aren't the only one. I wish I had had a group to meet and chat with and so that's where my Girls Night In With Fran came from! Come and meet young people of your age, grab a glass of vino (or nosecco!) have a chat, a laugh and feel like you belong.
