We are celebrating Black History Month this month and supporting Black authors- this months book is 'Grievers' by Adrienne Maree Brown!
A bit about our author- Adrienne Maree Brown is a Black feminist write, activist, facilitator, doula, and speaker known for her work on social justice and transformative change. Her writing is deeply influenced by the concepts of Afrofuturism and the work of science fiction author Octavia E. Butler. She is part of the Black Organizing for Leadership and Dignity extended team, at the intersection of political education, community organizing, somatics and black love.
