Creating compelling female characters can be difficult when you’ve internalized centuries of culture that devalues feminine pursuits. Join television and comics writers Meghan Fitzmartin (Supernatural), Yulin Kuang (I Ship It), Alexis Quasarano (Harley Quinn) and Barbara Kesel (Supergirl and Batgirl) as they talk about how they create characters that wear dresses, love the color pink and dance to Taylor Swift – and give themselves permission to do the same. The panel is moderated by the phenomenal Fantastic Frankey.
