Puella is more than youthful, a charmer, appealing and seductive, but is part of what unfolds the energetic, the unusual, and the wisdom of the feminine in her many forms. The puella figure lives out differently in each person. She leads to creative expression and the innovative, but when distorted, halts the psyche from development, until addressed. Narratives of people, dreams and fairytale figures portray this aspect of the personality. Join Susan Schwartz in exploring the puella's traits and her modern-day importance.
SUSAN SCHWARZ, PHD is a Jungian analyst educated in Zurich, Switzerland and a licensed clinical psychologist. For many years, Susan has been giving workshops and presentations at numerous organizations, and lectures worldwide on various aspects of Jungian analytical psychology. She maintains a private practice in Arizona.
