About this Event
Girl Scout Volunteer Day at Wilson Springs Preserve
Monday, January 19th • 1:00–3:00 PM
Hosted by Northwest Arkansas Land Trust
Join us for an afternoon of service, learning, and outdoor exploration at Wilson Springs Preserve! This special volunteer day is open exclusively to Girl Scouts in Southern Washington County, 6th grade and older, with space limited to 20 participants.
Together, we'll help care for one of Fayetteville’s most unique wetlands while discovering the plants and wildlife that call it home.
🌱 What to Expect
Participants will join NWALT staff for:
- A short, guided hike through Wilson Springs to learn about its ecology and restoration history
- Native seed spreading at an active restoration site
- Trash pickup to help keep the preserve clean and thriving
This event is a great opportunity for Girl Scouts to earn service hours, practice stewardship, and connect with nature close to home.
📍 Parking & Meeting Location
Please park and meet at the south side of the Fayetteville Sam’s Club parking lot. NWALT staff will guide the group to the preserve from there.
👟 What to Bring
