Girl I Got You is inviting you to our first annual women's retreat. We will host you at Coventry Oaks Lodge in Firestone Metro Park, an air-conditioned seated facility surrounded by beautiful nature and walking trails.
As women we juggle many responsibilities and at times we forget about ourselves. This retreat will refocus you on you and why taking care of yourself is a priority. So, whether you are young or mature, black, brown, yellow, or white, working, in school, or retired, married, single, divorced, or a widow, in debt or have lots of investments, feel pretty or not, think you are not enough or know you the bomb this retreat is for you. Join us for you and be an ally to your sisters!
Our agenda will include sessions of: Choosing Yourself- Making Yourself A Priority, Women & Work- Know Your Time, Season, & Reason; joint session of Winning Wives & Secure Singles- Your Marriage is Worth Fight & Your Singleness is Worth The Wait; Motherhood- Wisdom Now & Later; and Taking Care of Your Mental & Physical Health. We will have a panel Q & A session to close out retreat.
We will have lunch and line dancing along with our usual prizes and book raffle.
You can enjoy the grounds during lunch, breaks, and before and after retreat. Bring your walking shoes and portable chairs for these times.
Cost is $35 for retreat and lunch. We have a few scholarships registration fees available for true legitimate hardships only. If you would like to sponsor a scholarship, please contact us.
