Solo Concert – Giorgis Xylouris (Psarogiorgis)Giorgis Xylouris (Psarogiorgis), from Anogeia, a descendant of one of Crete’s most important musical families, presents his solo performance, with Markos Pinakoulakis responsible for sound and live sonic interventions.
With lute and voice, Xylouris follows the path shaped within him by lived experience—drawing equally from Cretan folk tradition and from new elements and influences of independent expression, which ultimately crystallize into his deeply personal musical language.
On this musical journey, Giorgis Xylouris and Pinakoulakis create a unique ,immersive experience, dismantling musical conventions and guiding the audience into an inner world of sound, memory, and emotion.
