GiniFest® (pronounced Ghi-ni, meaning “wine” in Armenian) was founded in 2018 with a mission to introduce and celebrate the rich heritage of Armenian wines and spirits in Southern California. This festival has become a premier platform for showcasing the unique flavors and history of this ancient yet rapidly emerging wine region.
Armenia holds a distinguished place in the history of winemaking, with evidence suggesting it is one of the oldest wine-producing regions in the world. Archaeological discoveries have traced Armenia’s winemaking tradition back over 6,100 years, making it home to the earliest known winery.
Over the years, GiniFest® has grown significantly—from welcoming 300 attendees in its inaugural year to over 1,300 guests. It has earned a reputation as one of Los Angeles’ most anticipated wine and spirits events, drawing enthusiasts, connoisseurs, and industry professionals from around the globe.
Our past festivals have received extensive media coverage, on KTLA Channel 5 and Fox 11’s Good Day LA, social media, print publications, and other television networks.
For the first time, GiniFest® will be hosted in an exciting street festival setting, providing an immersive and dynamic experience for both exhibitors and guests. This unique format will allow for greater engagement, visibility, and networking opportunities.
