Join me for a cozy, creative workshop full of festive cheer, perfect for getting you into the holiday spirit. In the morning, you'll design and hand-build your very own ceramic gingerbread house using traditional slab-building techniques – no sticky icing required! In the afternoon, add the magic of the season as you decorate your house with colourful slips, festive patterns, and charming Christmas details, making it a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake. Come along, connect with fellow makers, and add a little extra sparkle to your holiday season!All materials and equipment will be provided. Tea and Coffee will be available throughout the day. The only thing you need to bring is a packed lunch and an apron or wear old clothes.
After the workshop, I will carefully take your gingerbread house home and fire it in my kiln. I will then glaze your work, which will make it stronger and more durable. Your beautiful creations will be ready for collection approximately 6 weeks after the workshop finishes from the Walronds. I will let you know the time and date.
