Join me for a cozy, creative workshop full of festive cheer, perfect for getting you into the holiday spirit. In the morning, you'll design and hand-build your very own ceramic gingerbread house using traditional slab-building techniques – no sticky icing required! In the afternoon, add the magic of the season as you decorate your house with colourful slips, festive patterns, and charming Christmas details, making it a truly one-of-a-kind keepsake. Come along, connect with fellow makers, and add a little extra sparkle to your holiday season!
All materials and equipment will be provided. Tea and Coffee will be available throughout the day. The only thing you need to bring is a packed lunch and an apron or wear old clothes.
After the workshop, I will carefully take your ginerbread house home and fire it in my kiln. I will then glaze your work, which will make it stronger and more durable. Your beautiful creations will be ready for collection approximately 6 weeks after the workshop finishes from the Walronds. I will let you know the time and date.
NB: I am happy to store your work for 6 months from the collection date, after which time your work will be donated to charity.

There is FREE parking at the Walronds. The carpark is located at the back of the building. To access the carpark you will need to turn up Tiverton Road off the High Street, and then turn left just before the fire station onto Shortlands Lane. It is a narrow lane and easily missed. Drive a few yards up the lane and you will see the sign for the carpark on the left. Turn left and follow the drive through the gate ahead.
