Gingerbread Homes for the Holidays WorkshopAre you looking for good old-fashioned family fun and a way to help others this holiday season? Join us for our annual Gingerbread Homes for the Holidays event, hosted by Truman Heritage Habitat for Humanity! This festive workshop and contest is a wonderful way to support families, veterans, and the elderly aging in place, all while building your own gingerbread masterpiece.
Registration is just $15, and all proceeds go towards empowering families in need of safe and affordable housing. You’ll receive everything you need to construct and decorate your gingerbread “home” – frosting, candies, and plenty of decorations. Spaces fill quickly, so get there on time to secure your spot!
Each house will be proudly displayed in the Independence Square “Living Windows” event, where hundreds of visitors will see your work. Invite friends and family to support your house with a vote – every $1 donation counts as a vote, and all funds go directly to Habitat for Humanity’s mission to help families in our community.
