15 year old drummer Gilberto has been rocking audiences around the globe with his keen sense of groove for several years. The Charlotte Observer states "Drummer Gilberto.… deliver(s) body-shaking rock that makes no excuses for age”.
NYC born and bred, the accomplished teenager marks the release of his live album, “A Night in New York” with this performance at the Cutting Room. Recorded live in Greenwich Village during 2021’s pandemic, “A Night in New York” features a collection of Rock, Jazz and Pop instrumental classics recorded by Gilberto and his band of NYC veteran musicians.
