Join us on Saturday, February 15th at the White Buffalo Youth Lodge as we honour the life of Gilbert Kewistep, a beloved social worker, Professor at the First Nations University of Canada, Knowledge Keeper, and pillar of our community. Gilbert dedicated his life to advocating for Indigenous culture, education, and community well-being. A kind and humble spirit, he will be deeply missed.We extend our gratitude to the Kewistep family, the Saskatoon and Northern Campus Student Associations, the Indigenous Law Students’ Association, and the First Nations University of Canada for coming together to create a meaningful tribute to Gilbert’s enduring legacy.
Together, we carry forward his vision of unity, love of culture and ceremony, and his unwavering commitment to community.
