GiGi & EMI‘s Warm Winter Project is hosting The Fourth Annual Christmas Ugly Sweater skating event at Skateaway in Shillington to benefit Berks area homeless. Skateaway skate center in Shillington is a large skating rink where we will skate, dance, eat, play games, face painting and of course give away lots of prizes. We have a grand prize and multiple giveaways, gift baskets, and gift cards. There will be music, ugly sweater contest and the snack bar will be open for all.
Children and adults of all ages are welcome and this event is open to the public. May bring your own skates/rollerblades or we will provide a rental for you at a small fee. There are trainers available for the small children who are unable to skate on their own. We do ask that children under the age of 13 be accompanied by an adult.
Most importantly bring your ugliest, most outrageous, brightly colored, crazy ugly Christmas sweater. There will be winners chosen for first, second, and third place in three different age divisions. Prizes will be awarded. And there will also be a prize for most creative family sweaters for families of more than two people.
Admission tickets: $12 in advance $15 at the door (under 2 are free)
Skate Rental: $5
Roller blades: $5
Raffle tickets will be $5
There will be no fee to enter the Ugly Sweater contest, although donation are accepted and welcomed!
Please consider bringing non-perishable food items and/or gently worn or new winter coats, hats or gloves of any size (you will get a free raffle ticket
Tickets are available for sale online and at the door with cash or credit card. Raffle ticket sales are cash only.
Bake Sale items will be individually price under $5 each
The snack bar will be open at Skateaway’s usual pricing.
