Close Encounter are a new trio on the live music scene and will be playing 2 sets of popular acoustic guitar orientated music as well as upbeat dance hits at this new venue for the band in Portishead. Our playlist includes hits by Rod Stewart, Stereophonics, Travis, Mavericks, Michael McDonald, Everly Brothers, Crowded House, Eagles, U2, Elton John and many more top artists.Close Encounter are talented musicians with over 80 years combined performing experience with Ian McGuire (Tundra) on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Martin Lansdown (Two's Company) on lead vocals and guitars and Karl Reader (Tundra)on bass and backing vocals.
