The holidays can be one of the toughest parts of the year for families. Right now in Oklahoma, more than 15% of households struggle with food insecurity, meaning they don’t always know where their next meal will come from, and that’s higher than the national average. One in four children in our state faces hunger, and far too many families are forced to skip meals just to make ends meet.
Homelessness also continues to impact our communities, with hundreds of individuals counted in recent local counts without stable housing.
Gift Raps is a community support concert focused on giving back. Entry is free with the donation of a new, unopened toy or a non-perishable food item help us put food and smiles on tables this season.
