Hey friends! April 28th will be the yearly Gift of Life Donor Dash in Philly. I’ve decided to start a team in order to spread the word on the importance of organ donation as well as draw attention to my specific need for a kidney. I’m hoping you’ll consider joining me for a 3k walk and/or donate to the Gift of Life foundation. They have an amazing home where organ recipients and their families can stay while they receive care or support loved ones who are receiving a transplant. My doctors have already mentioned a desire for me to stay there after my transplant in order to help out with the numerous appointments right after or for Pete to stay in during the process.
