Gift of Gospel - FREE CONCERT
The Gift of Gospel is an ‘edu-tainment’ gospel concert brought to you from across the Southeast Region of the country. This event happens on National Donor Sabbath Day which is a time to educate communities about organ, eye, and tissue donation and encourage people to register as donors. Out of the 104,000 people on the national waiting list, 65% are Black/African American. It’s vital we educate our community about the facts surrounding donation and the importance of talking with family and loved ones about their decision.
GOG couples music with education and testimonials showcasing the miracles of organ, eye, and tissue donation. This year, we’re partnering with The Links, Incorporated, the Association of Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation (AMAT) and other national organ procurement organizations to bring Gift of Gospel to life.
