Gift Making Workshop: Create & Celebrate! (Day 1)
Unleash your inner alchemist and join us for a full two days of delightful, hands-on creation! Guided by Alice Duvernell, a certified aromatherapist and passionate plant advocate, this workshop is designed for makers of all ages to craft beautiful, natural products with their own hands.
Inspired by Alice's own journey from a curious nature-lover to the founder of Biophilia Botanicals, this class is all about connecting with the joyful, healing power of plants and natural formulations. You'll learn the stories behind the ingredients and the simple magic of turning them into luxurious, heartfelt gifts.
This makers fair is perfect for:
- Families looking for a unique and creative activity for the holidays.
- Anyone wanting to make meaningful handmade gifts for the holidays.
- Anyone curious about natural skincare and the wonderful world of aromatherapy!
In this fun-filled station based workshop, you and your friends / family will craft and take home:
- Aromatherapy Roll-Ons: Choose your favorite uplifting or calming essential oil scents to create a personalized pocket-sized potion for wellness on the go.
- Soothing Lip Balms: Whip up a batch of ultra-nourishing, naturally-flavored lip balms in cute tins or tubes—perfect for keeping or gifting!
- Luscious Cacao Butter Lotion Bars: Experience the pure magic of molding these rich, chocolate-scented bars that melt into your skin for deep hydration. (Yes, they smell good enough to eat!) (workshop is happening on Sunday afternoon only from 2 to 4.30 pm)
- Aromatherapy Mineral Bath Salts and scrubs: Mix up a beautiful jar of bath-time bliss with Epsom salts, vibrant clays, organic dried flowers and plants, organic carrier oils and your choice of essential oils for the ultimate soak and scrub.
- Herbal Bath teas, make a fun gift of a tea for bath or foot bath or facial steam. This makers station is free of charge!
Come make a mess, make memories, and make something wonderful!
This will be a "station based" event. Participate in any or all of the stations depending on your interests. Prices for each station are separate and vary from $20 to $75 depending on how many of each products you take home and the cost of the ingredients. Included are all materials and take home products. We provide premium organic ingredients, essential oils, and charming containers for your creations. No experience is necessary—just bring your creativity and joy!
Class Details:
Date & Time: Saturday and Sunday November 9th 2025, from 10 am to 5 pm
Location: Biophilia Botanicals Studio, 489 South Main Street Sebastopol CA
Price: Per person entrance ticket: $10. (No charge for children under 16 years old when accompanied by an adult).
NOTE: The entrance ticket does not cover the Makers Stations. It is for entrance only and includes an elderberry warm apple cider beverage (non-alcoholic).
Makers Stations:
- Class on whipped body butters and solid lotion bars costs $85. You will be bringing back three items of each at end of the class.
- All other projects are organized in stations, with prices from $20 to $75.
Age Friendly: Recommended for ages 8 and up. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Each day will finish with a special gathering to play and share!
- Saturday 29th: Potluck and dancing from 6 to 10 pm. Suggestion: Bring your left over Thanksgiving food and remember your red dancing shoes!!!
- Sunday 30th: Sing along with special guest. Magical Elixir bar and snacks with Maria, Star and Giselle from 6 to 8pm.
