Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion. In this class participants will mill, cut, and build a 6-foot tall five step Blanket / Quilt ladder. Students will leave with basic instruction in milling techniques as well as a completed blanket / quilt ladder. At the end of making your ladder the instructor will cover finishing types and techniques. This is a comprehensive 5.5 hour class with a 30 minute lunch break. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
