Our classes and workshops are the perfect “unique” alternative to a material gift or “stuff” for any occasion. The Rockler Dovetail Jig is the most versatile of the available dovetail jigs. Find out how easy it is to cut dovetails and adjust the jig for a perfect fit! If you have a Rockler jig, bring it to class along with your router and bits. We’ll also have a jig for use if you don’t have one yet. Everyone will get hands-on experience cutting through and half-blind dovetails while making a beautiful box to take home. This is a comprehensive 6 hour class with a 30 minute lunch break. All class participants receive a 15% discount on merchandise purchased in the store on the same day of their class. Exclusions apply. Students should come properly attired for a woodworking class (tight fitting clothing, long hair restrained and constrained from the face); and bring or wear provided industry standard hearing protection and safety glasses during equipment operation. All woodworking classes are held in a store that sells a wide variety of woods, including exotic woods such as cedar, aromatic cedar and other products (e.g., finishes, cleaners, etc.) that may cause allergic or other reactions in a small number of cases.
