Join TEAM GIFT DRAGONS, for an Exciting Charity Boat Race and Make a Difference!
This August, take a break from your routine and join Gift Foundation for an exhilarating boat race event at Fairlop Waters in Ilford. It’s not just a race; it’s an opportunity to engage in friendly competition, meet new people, and support a noble cause.

Join our team, Gift Dragons, and support our Scholars of Tomorrow campaign. Your participation will help nurture future scholars and imams, providing financial assistance to those pursuing or currently studying to become scholars and imams. Additionally, our Imam Support campaign focuses on aiding imams, who are struggling financially and unable to provide for their families while teaching Islam to the community.( own families and in effect struggling to teach Islam and serve their communities)
Terms and Conditions
Team leads ensure that instructions and guidelines are followed by all Boat Race
1. Teams need to arrive on time, no later than 10 am, so the Boat Race schedule is maintained.
2. On arrival, team leads need to register the team’s attendance and participants with the Boat Race
coordinators, who will be available at the Event Info Point.
3. At registration, each team will be allocated a position in the Team Base. Each team must be
based where allocated, so the Boat Race coordinators can provide updates on Boat Race timings and
any other important information.
4. At all times participants should be respectful and tolerant of other participants and at all times
follow instructions from the Boat Race organisers.
5. All participants need to attend safety briefings at their allocated times (starting from 11 am), at the
Team Briefing Point. After the safety briefing, each participant will be given a wristband. If the wrist
band is lost or damaged, it will not be replaced. Without this wristband, participants will not be
allowed to take part in the Boat Race.
6. Teams should be ready at all times and when called should make their way to the Boat loading area.
7. Teams not present and loaded, when called by the Boat Race organisers will not wait or delay the
Boat Race. It will go ahead without them.
8. During the Team Parade, participants are reminded to maintain the expected etiquette of the Boat
Race by not playing any music but the good-humoured celebration is acceptable.
9. Upozilla teams are responsible for ensuring participants are from their respective upozilla.
10. Be respectful of the Dragon Boat organiser’s decision.
11. The Dragon Boat organizers are independent of The Charity Boat Race management and their
decision is full and final without prejudice. No appeals will be accommodated.
12. Use litter bins always provided and keep your team area tidy.
13. Where Marquees/Gazebos have been provided, teams are responsible for keeping these safe from
any damage. Any damage will need to be compensated accordingly by team management.
14. Personal possessions are left at the owner’s risk.
15. After the event, ensure you take all your belongings. Event organizers will not be responsible for
the loss/theft of personal belongings.
16. Most importantly have fun, stay safe, and enjoy the day with your family and friends Please support
the Charities supported by this event.
17 There will be a meeting for team managers (only one person) - it is vital that this meeting is
attended. Meeting slots for managers: 10.15- Upazila 10.30 - Sisters 10.45 - Masjid 11.00 - CLC
