Join us on a day trip to Mt Field, the most accessible place to view the stunning display of Tasmania’s Fagus in winter time. This is your chance to meet the world's tallest flowering tree species and witness Australia's only winter deciduous tree, the Fagus. What to expect?
We'll travel from Hobart with a local expert scientist to marvel at the soaring Eucalyptus forests and the deep green rainforests growing beneath. These are some of the most impressive trees on Earth. Along the way, you'll learn about the natural Tasmanian environment, and see the remarkable Russell Falls, perhaps Australia's most beautiful waterfall, cascading over the sandstone cliffs.
