The Ghosts & Monsters Paranormal Bus Tour, presented by Kentucky After Dark, is NEW FOR 2024 as a part of the 2024 Goatman Festival. The tour will begin with a Goatman Hunt at Legend at Pope Lick lead by cryptozoology researcher Michael W. Cook. The hunt will show how to track animals and cryptids, make castings, check trail cams, make cryptid calls, and of course visit the infamous Pope Lick Trestle, a known haunt protected by the Goatman Cryptid. This part of the tour is around 90 minutes - wear your hiking gear!
After the hunt, the tour will jump on a bus and head to the Talbott Tavern for lunch. The Talbott Tavern is one of Kentucky's most haunted taverns, with bullet holes in the walls from Jesse James! Lunch will be your choice of: Kentucky Hot Brown, Pork BBQ, or Catfish. Lunch will last around 60 minutes.
After lunch, the tour commences into Bardstown for a paranormal tour with the Bardstown Ghost Trek. Learn about the paranormal from the ghost hunting experts. This part of the tour is 90 minutes.
After the tour, the bus will depart back to Legend at Pope Lick in time to enjoy seminars, vendors, and festivities at the Goatman Festival.
You are welcome to bring refreshments and snacks on the bus. This is a limited capacity experience and may sell out.
Total tour experience will last between 5-6 hours.

9:30AM-11:00AM: Goatman Hunt private tour with Michael Cook
11:00AM-11:45AM: Bus transportation to the Talbott Tavern, Kentucky's most haunted tavern
12:00PM-1:00PM: Lunch at the Talbott Tavern. Choose from Kentucky Hot Brown, Pork BBQ, or Catfish
1:00PM-2:30PM: Bardstown Ghost Trek private tour
2:30PM-3:00PM: Bus transportation to the Goatman Festival
WHAT TO WEAR:
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing for hiking & walking. The tour will go off the beaten path so it is wise to wear long socks and pants. The tour is subject to weather. It is a rain or shine event so plan your attire accordingly.
