Prostřednictvím vyprávění příběhů a her budou účastníci spolupracovat s digitálními duchy, aby kriticky prozkoumali navigační systémy ve virtuálních prostorech a prostředí videoher a zmapovali cesty k mnoha neformovaným budoucnostem na porézních hranicích skutečnosti a představivosti.
Workshop s umělcem Sahejem Rahalem v rámci nadcházející výstavy Sahej Rahal: Beyond the City of Time v Galerii Rudolfinum proběhne ve spolupráci s Akademií výtvarných umění v Praze (AVU), která jej bude hostit ve svých prostorách AVU Veletržní.

Ghosting the Machine: Workshop with Sahej Rahal × AVU | Sahej Rahal: Beyond the City of Time
Computational technologies threaten to flatten our sense of being and belonging, burying us under boredom, banality, and bad faith. Their planetary-scale systems distract and deceive us into believing that both every day and everywhere is always all the same.
Yet the tools that cast this virtual fog contain secret exits and escape routes. Through storytelling and play, participants will collude with digital ghosts to critically examine navigational systems in virtual spaces and videogame environments, to chart pathways towards a multitude of unformed futures on the porous boundaries of the real and the imagined.
The workshop with artist Sahej Rahal, part of the upcoming exhibition Sahej Rahal: Beyond the City of Time at Galerie Rudolfinum, will take place in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (AVU), which will host it at AVU Veletržní.
