About this Event
The "Ghost Writers Comedy Show" is a live event held at the Grisly Pear Midtown Location where each show the Audience will assist in writing the comic's material.
The way it works is each show will have a theme.
As you, the audience, come into the venue we will hand you a sheet of paper where you can write 1-3 ideas down relating to the theme. It can be anything from a word, to a phrase, to a quick story (if too long, the comic won't use).
What will happen next is the host will bring up the comics, 1 by 1, up to the stage and together they will pick 3 pices of paper from the bucket determing what that comic must "riff" or "improvise" about.
After the host and the comic pick the 3 topics, the host will leave the comic alone on stage and he/she must riff of those topics until their time is up. What makes it fun is the comic may or may not interact with the audience to dive further into whoever wrote the selected topic.
While this is an interactive show, unprovoked hecklers will be thrown out.

Patrons must arrive 15 minutes before show time or risk losing their seats with no refund. Note that weekend shows typically sell out
No refunds or exchanges.
In case of inclement weather, the show will go on unless it is dangerous to do so.
