Loss is universal.Everyone has experienced it in some form. Ghost Story: The Remains of Loss is a journey through some of the different ways one can cope, both healthy and unhealthy.
Calgary director, performance and visual artist, puppeteer, and animator Stephanie Quilliams has been transforming the pain of losing her sister to suicide into a unique artistic endeavour by animating her sister’s ashes.
While sharing this multimedia piece-in-progress, Stephanie will offer insights into her creative process, her vision, and the importance of using such an unconventional medium to convey her message.
Dance artist Jocelyn Mah will also be featured in a short performance, with music composed by sound artist Ryan Hall.
