For our first event of 2025 we're proud to present a 30th anniversary screening of Mamoru Oshii's cyberpunk anime thriller, Ghost in the Shell !New Port City, Japan 2029: A cyborg government agent, Major Motoko Kusanagi, and the Internal Bureau of Investigations are hot on the trail of a hacker known as “The Puppet Master”, a sentient computer virus capable of infiltrating human hosts.
Together with her fellow agents from Section 9, Kusanagi embarks on a race against time to capture the dangerous and omnipresent entity.
Based on the manga by Masamune Shirow, Ghost in the Shell features groundbreaking animation from Production I.G. studio (K*ll Bill Vol. 1, Patlabor, The Deer King) and a beautiful, atmospheric score by acclaimed composer Kenji Kawai (Ring, Ip Man, Death Note).
Incredibly stylish and hugely influential, this timeless classic demands to be seen on the big screen.
