The Royal Gunpowder Mills was used for over 300 years dating back to 1700's and known for the making of Gunpowder, hence their name. Set in the vast area of 170 acres of land. There was many explosion's here, but none like the major one that caused many deaths and could be heard for miles around.Appartions have often been seen still frequently this location, though to be those who suffered their own fate here at the Mill.
There are many buildings that we have access to, including where many of the woman worked in particular the Spinks Gallery which still is said to be one of the most daunting places in the Mill, where people can often still sense their presence.
