Ghar is Tape A Tale`s open mic event: a warm, welcoming home for your words. You can come, share your stories, poems, or just sit back and listen to people. And this time, we are doing it little special with a letter writing workshop. At Ghar, you`ll always find a space for your art and a family to share it with. How This Open Mic Works: 1. Grab your ticket and join us at the venue. 2. If you`d like to perform, write your name on a chit and drop it in the hat on stage. (If you`re here to just listen, we welcome you with open arms and a warm heart!) 3. During the event, our host will randomly 8 chits who will get a chance to perform! 4. If your name is picked, you`ll get 5 minutes to share your story or poem (fiction or non-fiction). 5. After that, we`ll celebrate by announcing the Performer of the Night. This open mic is followed by a letter writing workshop where we will practice the art of writing letters kyunki kitna khoobsurat hai, apne dil ke jazbaaton ko khat mein kisi ke naam likh dena:) P.S. Ghar is a non-biased, chit-based open mic, and we stay true to this format. Just this time, we are sprinkling the magic of letter writing workshop. It`s a safe, welcoming space where you`ll find a home in the warmth of stories, poems, and the beautiful people you`ll meet!
