About this Event
We are in the process of putting the programme together and will e-mail you the details in due course. In the mean time we ask that you book your tickets so we can start making all of the necessary arrangements.
This meeting will include a series of talks , workshops and a poster session. We do not currently have any plans for a particular themed session as we want to ensure the meeting is as inclusive as possible, particularly as all of the demonstrators cover a wide range of GGR topics. We are therefore asking that you discuss who presents different elements - these might be activities from your project, or perhaps cross-cutting research or operational themes with your GGR-D project to ensure that there is no duplication in the work that is presented (we may decide to theme sessions based on a specific GGR projects, depending on how many of you book tickets from each). Please send your abstracts (max 250 words) as pdfs (saved as presenter name, GGR-D project and oral or poster preference, e.g. Rhymes_Peat_Poster.pdf) with a title and authors list to [email protected] by the 12th of August. Please book your tickets before we get back to you about your abstract as catering and other arrangements need to be made.
Also though this is billed and organised as an early-career researcher [ECR] event, we have no strict definitions of 'early-career'. All are welcome to attend and contribute; we will however favour presentations and posters from these establishing their careers in science.

How to get here?
The conference venue is a 20 minute walk away from Manchester Piccadilly station, 10 minute walk from Manchester Oxford road station and Deansgate station. If you don't fancy the walk there are various bus routes that pass the conference venue from the stations. Parking is best organised through your hotel.
