Amani is a local private nonprofit organization providing social services, support, and advocacy to immigrants, refugees, and non-English speakers who have made Allen County their new home.

Ewelina Connolly serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Amani Family Services. Ewelina is a native of Plock, Poland, and has been living and working in Fort Wayne for the past 25 years. She has earned her Bachelor's degree in Law and Administration at Nikolai Copernicus University in Torun, Poland, and her Master's of Science in Education degree from Indiana University. Ewelina is licensed in the State of Indiana as a marriage and family therapist and a clinical addiction counselor. Ewelina has been serving the community in both the nonprofit and higher education industries. She is actively involved in community development initiatives focused on justice and advocacy and serves on a number of advisory committees and coalitions. Ewelina currently serves on the steering committee for the Women's Fund, the Language Roadmap Governing Board for the State of Indiana. She is also a part of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition and a Mitch Daniels Foundation Fellow representing Fort Wayne and Allen County.
