Now we're excited to offer a second camping experience for those wanting cooler weather!!!! Camp where the confederates once slept during the battle of Gettysburg when they occupied the property and used it as a field hospital as well. You will also be sleeping on top of what was once Gettysburg's first in ground pool that was later backfilled with dirt that had headstones mixed it in from the national cemetery located at the battlefield. The headstones were being replaced and while loading the dirt, the piles mixed together. When you purchase your camping spot you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to sleep inside the original blacksmith shop where a 17 year old was held prisoner before later escaping.This is a 2 night experience and the cost is $150 per person. We are also offering just Friday night at $80 or just Saturday night at $80 for those that may not be able to stay both nights ***This could cause some of you wanting to stay both nights to miss out if individual nights start getting booked first.*** Payments can be made directly through us, message page for more details, or click on the ticket part on this event to be routed to our website for credit card payments. Breakfast and dinner are included each day and these will be meals prepped and cooked on site in our kitchen, made with love and blessed! We will provide drinking water as well. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL. During the day we will offer a tour of the Gettysburg battlefield. The lodge and cellar will remain opened to guest to investigate all night. Showers and toilets inside the lodge will also be made available to guest throughout their stay. There will be two firepits as well, depending on how many guest sign up. Due to parking, we will be limited to 20 guest.
All proceeds go towards further restoring the lodge, blacksmith shop, and garage. We've already replaced the entire roof on the lodge, repaired and replaced the kitchen floor, but in urgent need of replacing the garage roof and repairing and replacing the downstairs bathroom floor. We're waiting on property elsewhere to sell and further our efforts. Till then, we rely on these events to get what we can finished. Thanks for all your support and amazing things are to come.
