Getting Started with Wildlife Photography

Wildlife is one of the most challenging photographic pursuits, and also one of the most rewarding. Whether it's at an exotic destination or right in your own back yard, spending time observing the animals around us can produce some of the most striking images we'll ever capture.

Join us for this intro-level class to get started. We'll talk about techniques, gear, and camera settings & features to help you on the path to success. Learn about photographing mammals, birds, insects, and more!

Prerequisites: Understanding Your Interchangeable Lens Camera: Part 2 or equivalent experience. We recommend an interchangeable-lens camera for this class.

We recommend that attendees wear masks in our classroom.If you don't have a high-quality mask (like N95 or KN95) we have a limited supply available for you here at Dan's. Just ask when you arrive for your class.
