You've purchased 3D printers for your school, now what? Tinkercad is the answer for you and your students. With Tinkercad, you can launch your students into the world of 3D design, one shape at a time. This online platform allows you to design and refine projects while integrating academic concepts across the curricular spectrum. Join us as we explore the platform, learn the foundations of 3D design, and apply various design techniques to create more complex objects.
At the end of session we will provide you a certificate for the total hours of participation, approved for many state teaching licenses. Each registrant will receive:
- Calendar invite with access information for the live, synchronous session
- Detailed agenda information
- Assistance with setting up access to our online professional development platform, OTIS for educators
- Recap email with resources detailing any showcased platforms/tools following the virtual session
