About this Event

Come join us as we explore how to use Project-based learning successfully in the Chinese language classroom. What is Project-based learning? Project-based learning combines authentic learning with 21st century skills to prepare students for the challenges of the future. If you have been curious about how Project-based learning works in the Chinese language learning classroom, this workshop is a great starting point.

During this 5-hour workshop we will explore practical ways to introduce PBL step-by-step and all participants will be given resources relate directly to their language classroom.

Date: Friday March 1st

Time: 10am – 3pm

Location: University Settlement at Houston Street Center, 273 Bowery Street, Manhattan

Lunch is provided.

Our Instructor is Shaz Lawrence who has been a presenter and educational consultant to schools both locally and internationally for 9 years. Her popular workshops are practical and packed with tips for teachers of Chinese.
