About this Event
This is an event open to all Liverpool History Society members who wish to sharpen their skills in local history research. Experienced society members will be on hand to give presentations of their work and the resources they have used. Archivists from the renowned Liverpool Records Office will take members into the search room to expain what the archive holds and how to access materials. You can discuss your interests with fellow members and get advice on progressing your projects. Numbers are limited to 25 members but if there is sufficient interest we will consider repeating the event. There will be a small charge to cover expenses. If you decide to attend, write to tell the organisers the areas that interest you. The rare books curators have aslo offered to demonstrate some of their resources if required.
