About the speakers:
Glenda Gartrell was part of the feminist revolution in the 1970s and a long-time community advocate. From supporting life-sentence prisoners to pushing for gender equality in male-dominated sectors, Glenda has been at the forefront of social change. After her husband's passing, she joined a writing group and has been busy ever since.
Nadia Wheatley is a celebrated author with over 40 years of experience. Her recent works include Her Mother's Daughter and Radicals: Remembering the Sixties. Nadia's biography of Charmian Clift is considered definitive, and in 2014, she received an Honorary Doctorate of Letters from the University of Sydney for her outstanding contributions to literature.
