About Gabrielle: Dawna is a dedicated hiker on both trails and sidewalks for over 40 years. Her go-to hike is Lawrence Woods in the Middlesex Fells.
About the hike: Lawrence Woods is located on the opposite side of South Border Road. It is a quiet and lovely place to get your steps in!
We will meet at DCR Gate 1 across from Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Although this hike does not include climbing, some fire roads in Lawrence Woods have rocky terrain with some uphill climbs that require sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers. This hike will go from one end of Lawrence Woods to the other thus making it an enjoyable loop, approximately 3 miles.
Please park on Playstead Road in Medford across from Oak Grove Cemetery. Meet at DCR Gate 1 on Winthrop Street.
