Get Your Garden Growing: Introduction to Organic Spring Vegetable Gardening with Alemany Farm

This is an IN-PERSON workshop.
Interested in planting a vegetable garden but not sure what to plant or where to start? Come to Alemany Farm to learn the basics of getting your garden up and running and ideal planting times for each crop in a Bay Area climate. We’ll discuss planting techniques, soil preparation, basic irrigation needs, and some challenges that one can expect. The workshop will include lecture, Q&A, and hand-on learning.
Abby Bell and Thomas Abbott are the current farm managers of Alemany Farm and have over two decades of combined experience with gardening and growing food in the Bay Area.
Suggested Donation: $30 per person; no one turned away for lack of funds. Our workshops are donation-based. Your donation supports the farm to grow and give away food for free. Please give at the suggested level or higher if you are able.

We encourage everyone to make an offering commensurate with your means, and in an amount that feels powerful to you - such gifts make workshops like these possible.
