The show that combines TEDx-style talks and burlesque -by the same performers- is back live and in person! Experience the intellectual and sensual event that has educated and titillated audiences in Philadelphia, NYC, New Orleans, Montreal, Boston, and more!

Get You a Babe Who Can Do Both combines the fun of learning and yearning and proves that babes (of all genders) can be both sexy and competent. Audiences can look forward to hearing thought-provoking brief lectures with accompanying PowerPoints by striptease artists, and then enjoy some sultry burlesque acts.

This episode’s topics include: how whales benefit the planet and our health, the policies that prove Philadelphia hates its citizens, a respectful and confusion-proof guide to flirting, and the how psychiatric diagnoses are like the movie rating system.

“Many of us have been told that if we pursue creative endeavors out of the mainstream or we are open about being sexual, that it erodes our credibility as professionals,” says HoneyTree EvilEye, the Philadelphia-based producer of Do Both, who also has as PhD in Human Sexuality. “But the reality is that we can be both expressive, sensual beings and also capable adults. We’re proving that--- in both the performances and in the audience.”

“This show is a great first taste for folks who have never experienced burlesque before,” she says, “We get to rouse our brains, then enjoy an entirely different type of stimulation. There’s something for everyone!”

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the fun directly, through audience participation games, either by giving a 60 second-long talk or trying their hand at striptease in the Sensual Shoe Removal game.

The cast for Get You a Babe Who Can Do Both includes renowned performers including:

• NYC-based burlesque performer, model, actress and kink educator Vonka

• Balena Canto, the song-wielding siren, known for her drag opera extravaganza Fach Off at Tabu

• Chief Checkahoe, a standup comedian, burlesque baddie, and educator originally from Florida (but don’t hold that against her)

• Philly’s most prolific striptease artist, HoneyTree EvilEye, known for her mix of sultry, stupid and political productions

• And award-winning Philly-based emcee, Flirt Vonnegut.
