Get Yer Ukes Out, it’s Rolling Stones Night!Prepare to start it up, paint it black and let it bleed as Ver Players take you on an epic musical adventure paying homage to the OGs of rock ’n’ roll: Mick, Keith, Brian, Charlie and Bill.
Join the Ver Players as they strut, pout, shake their maracas – and do stadium rock on the humble ukulele. Satisfaction guaranteed.
Following sell-out performances of the Pink Floyd-inspired “Dark Side of the Uke” (2023) and their tribute to The Beatles (2024), Ver Players come together again this summer with a show specially created for the Roman Theatre: an evening of Rolling Stones.
Ver Players, based in St Albans, was founded by Stephen Wragg in 2012 and quickly established itself as one of the largest community ukulele groups in the UK with around 80 members. More than just a music group: it’s a social scene with added ukuleles, in which singing and strumming provide the focus to bring people of all ages together.
Over the past 12 years they have celebrated a number of musical anniversaries, with joyous performances on the theme of everything from The Sound of Music to David Bowie.
Tickets go on General Sale on 28th February.
Priority Booking for Season Ticket holders opens on 21st February.
