New for 2026! Join Sew Mrs Bee at Coda Music and Arts Trust for this one-day session on Saturday 24th January 2026. If you have a sewing machine but don’t know what to do with it – this class is perfect for you. Mrs Bee (Nancy) will guide you through the basics of sewing, from threading a needle to creating simple stitches.
By the end of the day, you will have learnt how to thread your machine and understood the different stitches it can create and how to attach and use the different feet that came with the machine.
We will also briefly discuss how to layout patterns and cut fabric.
This is a one day stand alone class to introduce you to your sewing machine. It takes place at Coda Music Arts Trust in their beautiful art studios. This class is for the complete novice/beginner. Bring your sewing machine, any sewing equipment you have and oodles of enthusiasm!
The studio is very accessible with easy level access to the large car park.
Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are provided. You will need to bring lunch with you.
