Discover the Art of Pottery: Getting to Know the Wheel Workshop on April 27th, 2025!Ever wanted to try your hand at the wheel? Well here's your chance! Learn the basics of wheel throwing at our "Getting to Know the Wheel" workshop on April 27th, hosted by East Wheeling Clayworks.
Craft Your Masterpiece:
No experience needed! Our skilled instructors will guide you through wheel throwing techniques to create your pottery masterpiece. At this event we will host up to 6 people per session while they try wheel-throwing a clay cylinder (the base for mugs, bowls, and more!). This is the first step in learning to throw your own pots! We will start with a brief demonstration and then the floor is yours! We'll offer tips and suggestions and a helping hand where needed. You will have 1.5 hours per session.
