An exciting opportunity for Birmingham young people to gain professional experience in animal care!
About this Event

On this 1 week in-person course you'll:

  • Work in a fun environment, meet new people and learn new skills.
  • Achieve an animal first aid certificate.
  • Have lunch and travel expenses provided.
  • Discover top tips and tricks of successful dog grooming.
  • Gain experience of animal handling, exotic/zoo animal health checks, Husbandry tasks & more!

PLUS get up to 3 months of personal mentoring to help you achieve your goals!

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity, so this programme is free to young people aged 16-30 not currently in full time work, training or education, within travel distance of Birmingham City Centre. The course will take place at Prince's Trust Birmingham Centre, Digbeth, B5 6DR just near the Bull Ring.

There is a Taster Day on 4th August to give you a flavour of what you'll get out of the course, and the programme itself runs 15-19th August.

Registering for this event does not mean you are guaranteed a place on the programme.
