Together with Google Cloud and apidays, we are proud to invite you to join our first in-person GET /Speaking program in the Netherlands.
GET /Speaking is a facilitated small-format program to build skills and confidence in speaking in the public domain.
We explore and learn about:
* What holds us back from speaking in public?
* What we have to offer and how to find a subject that resonates for the audience?
* How to prepare for a conference talk?
The real learning comes from sharing experiences, hopes and dreams with others on the program.
Who is this for?
The GET /Speaking program is exclusively available to Women In APIs community members. You can join here.
It is particularly suitable for people who:
* Work in API design, engineering, implementation, or deployment.
* Manage or contribute to API product teams or API-related projects.
* Promote, market, or advocate for APIs.
* Implement and support API tooling and API management solutions.
* Lead or facilitate API-enabled change.
* May not be native English speakers.
This program provides a valuable opportunity to network with members of our community as well as our partners at Google Cloud.
Program Details:
It's run over three sessions at Google offices on the following dates (times all CET):
- Session 1 | 23 May 2024 : 17h30 to 19h30
- Session 2 | 6 June 2024 : 17h30 to 19h30
- Session 3 | 20 June 2024 : 17h30 to 19h30
It's a small-group format , to create a safe space for sharing ideas and learning, and trying out things.
In addition, we arrange a follow-up 1-on-1 coaching session with one of our seasoned speakers from the wider, global Women In APIs membership.
