Our charity Groundwork NE & Cumbria is very focused on making a positive impact on the environment – so we’re really looking forward to this series of fun workshops making use of old unwanted bits ‘n’ bobs!Want to be crafty this Christmas? Want to save the planet and save money at the same time? Want to learn how to make your festive season more sustainable? Then this free workshop is for you!
After a brief chat about how to ‘reduce, re-use, recycle’ over the festive season, we will be making Christmas wreaths out of scrap fabric, plus re-useable crackers.
This workshop is advertised as ‘Get Ready for Christmas’, but all crafts can be adapted to suit any festival.
This one is for adults and all resources will be provided.
This is great fun and it’s free to attend – you just need to book a place as there are limited spaces available.
If you book a place and find you can no longer attend – please let us know so we can give the place to someone else.
