I’m having a letter writing party to get out the vote, because this election is incredibly important, and I’d prefer to keep our democracy! 😬I have been “adopting” voters through Vote Forward since 2020, which involves signing up to write letters in groups of 5 or 20 on their website, then you print out your letter templates, write a nonpartisan personal note, address, stamp, and send!
** If you don’t have a working printer, I am happy to print your letters and bring them for you - just let me know if you need that! **

Alternately, if you don't want to do the whole sign up thing on Vote Forward, you can tell me how many letters you want to write, I can sign up to "adopt" more voters, and I can bring them for you.
I'll be sitting in the park from 1-4pm, so drop in whenever you like, open house-style!
I’LL PROVIDE:
• blankets to sit on
• clipboards (AKA a flat surface for writing!)
• colorful pens and markers
• a few snacks and beverages (we’ll also be sitting near the Hidden Café, where you can get coffee and treats)
BRING:
• your letters or postcards to fill out (or let me know if you need printing assistance)
• stamps and envelopes if you need them - Vote Forward requires you to provide your own but other orgs may not
OPTIONAL
• any other seating you might want (additional blankets, camping chairs, etc.)
• more snacks or beverages to share
