About this Event
The Charlotte Fashion Collective, the premier and only Fashion organization in the Great Queen City that is managed, directed, and designed by the people of Charlotte Fashion is excited to bring our first Model Workshop to Uptown Charlotte.
This is a boutique event that will have a maximum of 35 attendees.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with and be coached by some of Charlotte's top professionals in the world of modeling.
The event will run from 12:00 to 3:00 and will consist of the following sessions:
- Runway walking and posing by Charlotte's top Model Coach and Agent Channing Holmes. Channing is a staple in the Charlotte community, has years of experience working with and seeing models through their career. We are honored to have him!!!
- Skin Care for Models by Tycalyn Blackmore. Tycalyn is a Master MUA and a Licensed Esthetician. She has worked with countless models, designers, stylists, and photographers here in Charlotte. She is a true artist of her craft and brings a wealth of knowledge.
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor Mary Lisa Moore will be on site and available to discuss stress and anxiety with any of our members that are interested. Mary will be available to speak to all models and model parents or guardians.
- Every Attendee will receive a complete set of "Digitals" taken at the event. The Digitals will be done by One of Charlotte’s top fashion photograohers. Murphy Photography. Murphy has worked with countless models here in Charlotte and beyond. The Digitals will consist of the 5 standard poses, and will meet all the typical requirements for submission to Agents, Producers, and Directors. The Digitals will be provided in a high resolution digital format individually, and we will also create a completed Comp Card for every attendee with all the required infomation. Digitals are a critical part of modeling and acting. It is the first thing any agent or director will ask you for, so you need to have them, and they need to be professionally done! So we're going to do it!!
- For models under the age of 13, we will provide 2 posed and completely edited portfolio pictures as opposed to the Digitals.
The Location for this event is the absolutley elegant Revel Room in uptown Charlotte. Fruit and light snacks along with water will be provided.
Parents of minors are welcome to attend all sessions at no charge.
This workshop will be interactive, and designed to educate you, prepare you, and deliver all the right tools you need to get started on your journey, or continue down the path you have already started on!!

Every attendee will also be guaranteed a spot on the Runway for our next Fashion Show!
