Come join us at the Hercules Community Center to learn more about the Enchanted Moon Sisters Circle event! Discover the magic and sisterhood that awaits you at this enchanting gathering.
What is a Women's Circle: Moon circles are an ancient practice where women gather (or those with strong feminine energy) to connect with each other and the powerful energies of the moon. This will be a sacred, safe place for us to lay bare our personal reflections to heal and grow and help others along in their own journeys. These circles aim to connect with oneself and others while sharing experiences, emotions, knowledge, wisdom, and aspirations through different methods. Our circle will be centered around the full moon and how we can embrace the power that it holds.
Why: In society women are labeled as mother, daughter, wife, grandmother, whatever your profession may be, retired, as we get older, a crone, and other terms. Although these are great labels, (most of them) does it describe really “who we are?” My thought is for us to gather and share some time together, as a group of supportive women, to attempt to be our genuine selves, in a nonjudgmental safe space.
How: every month we will have a theme that is centered around that month's full moon. Example: January's moon is a Wolf Moon.
Each month I will lead us through a series of exercises, be it mediation, setting intentions, movement, journaling, sharing, music, laughter, oracle cards, breath work, crafts etc.
Where: The Enchanted Moon Sister Circle will be held the evening of the second Wednesday of each month. The dates chosen are those closest to the full moon. We will meet at the Hercules Community Center in the Resource Room 2001 Refugio Valley Road in Hercules. Our time will be from 6:45 for sign in, begin at 7, and ending at 8:30.
Cost: The cost for each session will be $40 per person. If you prepay for three sessions the cost will be $100, for a savings of $20. Money to be paid one week in advance via Venmo. The cost covers the room rental, supplies and light snacks. (No alcohol allowed.)
What to bring: a willing and open attitude.
My story: I am Patricia Blades, a retired high school teacher, former probation officer, with some sale experience. I am associated with SisterHeart Circles out of Colorado and have completed the Women’s Circle Facilitator Training and will continue to train with them.
Please share this opportunity with others, but most importantly come for yourself.
